Jim Renfrow - Broker/Owner
After earning his bachelors’ degree in business administration and working in the residential construction trades, Jim began his professional career in the building sales industry while also serving in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard. He moved to Ohio in 2007 and started working in the commercial building industry as a project estimator/coordinator while simultaneously renovating distressed properties within Wayne and Medina Counties.
In 2016, Jim became a licensed Realtor and immediately found a way to apply his “out of industry” knowledge to offer benefit to his clients. Jim’s in-depth knowledge, of both residential and commercial building, has given his clients an advantage in both the buying and selling of properties and certainly plays a large part in his property management roles.
Jim, with his wife Sharon and three children, lives in Orrville and is proud to call Wayne County his home. Over the years, he has found fulfillment in serving his church, over-seas missions and local charities. If he isn’t talking real estate, be prepared to hear about running. Jim is an avid runner and competes in ultra-running events.
Patty Smucker - Realtor
Born and raised in Orrville, Patty has lived and worked in Wayne County nearly her whole life. She has been a medical office manager for the past 30 years and has extensive experience working with people in a caring and compassionate way. In 2020 she decided to bring her passion to serve others to the real estate industry. She attended Columbus State Community College and obtained her real estate license in April 2021.
Patty’s pride and joy is her family. She is extremely grateful for her husband, Eric, three children, Beth, Grant, and Cody, and their spouses, and eight grandchildren who help keep her young!
Patty attends Orrville Christian Church where she volunteers and is active in a small group. When she is not busy with family or work, you will find her tending flowers, walking, or redecorating a space in her home.
Desi Shoup - Realtor
Longtime resident of Wayne County, Desi grew up in Orrville, where she graduated high school and then attended Mount Vernon Nazarene University where she received her teaching degree in middle childhood education. She currently teaches 4th grade at Green Elementary School in Smithville and finds much joy in helping children learn and grow.
Desi lives in Orrville with her husband, Lyle, and their three young daughters. Lyle works on the family farm and is a real estate investor. Together, they enjoy spending quality time walking, playing games, and riding bikes with their daughters. Above all, Desi’s faith in Jesus is her driving force in life and she loves connecting and serving alongside her church family at Orrville Christian Church.
In 2019, Desi and Lyle started investing in real estate, including long-term rentals and buying and renovating distressed properties. To become more informed about the industry and to grow their business, Desi began taking real estate classes in 2022 and received her real estate license in the fall of 2023. She is excited to use her experience to help future clients in making informed decisions when buying and selling real estate.
